Silver Lining: An update

If you are a follower you know that the mister was laid off a few weeks ago and we got a new puppy around Valentines Day.  We have plenty to keep the mister busy two kids, puppy training, many unfinished home projects, looking for another job.... and I wanted to show you some of the progress he has made.    This is an ugly, unfunctional closet in our main hallway.

And here it is after he added some cheap wallpaper I bought off ebay.

And here it is after I actually stuff everything back in...(honesty in blogging, no staged photos here)
Now I have a place to keep my shopping bags, dog carrier, and miscellaneous crap.  It would have been nice to get a pretty new closet organizer from the Container Store, but see above (the mister got laid off).
And here is a picture of said puppy who has doubled in size in the month since we adopted him from the rescue organization.  He was 2 pounds and now is 4. Sorry for the crotch shot!

  2. he is a Papillon, we think he is purebred, but his mother was rescued from a puppy mill when she was pregnant with him, so we are not sure

  3. What a cutie pie!!! :-)

The closet looks wonderful! At least your husband is staying busy... mine would be crashed out in front of the TV! He did a great job on the closet!

  4. I love the stripes! Your puppy is adorable and makes me nostalgic for the days when my dog was a puppy stumbling around! I love how clumsy puppies are!

  5. Darling puppy! Nice job on organizing and decorating the closet. I love the crockpot in the closet, I have the turkey roaster under the bed, some things are just hard to store.

The puppy? What a doll face. He's even making my crazy cat lady heart melt.
