It's Eleventy Billion and I'm a Virgin

that's eleventy billion degrees

 and I'm a camping virgin

but the Appletrees are heading out

on their first ever family camping trip this week

and it ain't gonna look like this

or this 

and actually it's only 95 F degrees

and 80% humidity

so I have that going for me

there is a beach at the site

I hope to spend most of my time there

my main concern was 

how I was going to make coffee

like I said, I'm a virgin camper

I mean I have slept in a tent of course

and I've slept on a golf course once

does that count?

but I've never had to feed a family from

what I can make on a fire

so that should be interesting

french press for coffee I'm told

brilliant

I have one of those

and

the rest of the gear we are borrowing

from neighbors

thanks neighbors

and to my family 

who can't wait to say I told you so

you only have to wait til Friday
