it's Monday

I feel every minute of that lost hour
my furnace is still broken

after $700 of repairs

my husband is stranded in Woodbury

his truck is broken

goodbye $700 more


but I took the day off today
(see previous post)
and caught a little CNN

so I'm done pouting
and once again
counting my blessings

and trying to comprehend
that much devastation

it doesn't feel real
when it is so far away

but I think it's important to know it's real
to join in their pain
or to pray
or meditate
or send some positive energy
