My husband is wallpaper phobic so I am starting him out small. The inside of our closet. Did you know ebay has a ton of vintage wallpaper? Some of it is so cool. But usually I can only find a roll or two and it is a fairly large closet. The hunt continues, so far I like the naked people best (see previous posts). Which do you prefer?

One of my bloglist friends found a great source for bookcases and lockers. Picnics under the Moon suggests Herz for all your school house/industrial needs. The cases, carts and lockers come in many colors and at reasonable prices. I can see the white cart full of cookbooks in a kitchen. I would use the yellow one in my daughter's room. I think the science lab case would look good anywhere. We are seeing lockers in mudrooms, playrooms, even kitchens now. ps Herz: hire a stylist for your photoshoot next time. I come cheap. my living room. this looks like my cat. my daughter's room which is hot pink with red accents. my son's room. these two in my entry way.
I love Charley Harper's stuff. I bought my kids his alphabet flashcards a few years ago and have one framed in my living room. But I think I need a few big prints. The open editions are pretty cheap online, and actually the limited editions aren't bad either.
Trying hard to find the silver lining today; my husband got "terminated without cause" from his job. Mom if you are reading this I tried to call you. Here is what I have come up with: a) my kids will get private skating lessons from the best skater I know, every day. b.) the closet organizers will be put up. c.) the puppy will be house trained d.) he will move on to bigger and better things....
this would make any girl happy, am I right ladies? I personally don't care to get flowers on Valentines Day. As a surprise on a random Tuesday? Yes, please.
Girls just really want to know that our fella was thinking of us, and not stopping at Walgreens on the way home for a rose from the bucket by the door. You don't have to buy jewelry, try looking up a love poem online and copying it in your own handwriting on some nice paper (be sure to credit the author). Or get some artisan chocolate, not Hershey's Jon, from a hot local chocolatier. Or do as my husband did, and get her a puppy. Puppies say I love you, I am committed to you, I want to clean up poop with you. Now that is love.
I need one of these bags. George Gina & Lucy is my obsession. Last year I drove to Chicago to buy one in the first photo. They don't sell them in any stores here in Minneapolis. And they are hard to find online. Easier this year, than last year, but still elusive. Their website is so fun you can see every style, in every color, but you cannot buy one. Which makes me want it all the more. I carry my aqua bag every where every day and with every outfit. It goes with nothing, and so it goes with everything. I always get compliments on it.
Now I want a silver or black one. Can you help? Do you have actual stores in your town that carry the line? Have you seen either of these models? Can you put me in touch with the store? Be careful, you might become addicted too.
