My husband is wallpaper phobic so I am starting him out small.  The inside of our closet.  Did you know ebay has a ton of vintage wallpaper?  Some of it is so cool.  But usually I can only find a roll or two and it is a fairly large closet.  The hunt continues, so far I like the naked people best (see previous posts).  Which do you prefer?

One of my bloglist friends found a great source for bookcases and lockers.  Picnics under the Moon suggests Herz for all your school house/industrial needs.  The cases, carts and lockers come in many colors and at reasonable prices.   I can see the white cart full of cookbooks in a kitchen.  I would use the yellow one in my daughter's room.  I think the science lab case would look good anywhere.    We are seeing lockers in mudrooms, playrooms, even kitchens now.  ps Herz: hire a stylist for your photoshoot next time.  I come cheap.

I love Charley Harper's  stuff.  I bought my kids his alphabet flashcards a few years ago and have one framed in my living room.  But I think I need a few big prints.  The open editions are pretty cheap online, and actually the limited editions aren't bad either.

Trying hard to find the silver lining today; my husband got "terminated without cause" from his job.  Mom if you are reading this I tried to call you.  Here is what I have come up with: a) my kids will get private skating lessons from the best skater I know, every day.  b.) the closet organizers will be put up.  c.) the puppy will be house trained d.) he will move on to bigger and better things....
