I'm a child of the seventies.  

Yesterday I made tuna patties (happy to share recipe just ask) and hamburger gravy with mashed potatoes; two staples from my childhood. 

  I guess I was feeling nostalgic or homesick or maybe just really hungry for something salty.

The mister got an interview today

but in another state

not familiar to me

the thought of leaving family and friends is not appealing

especially for a strange suburbia

but plopping a container on a beach somewhere in Latin America

sounds kinda fun

we'd sell everything we own

I could teach English

He could lead dive trips

we could grow vegetables on the roof

and live on grilled fish and tropical fruit

we'd be tan and skinny 

eventually we could add on...

but I would miss my mom

and I don't like tropical fruit
