deep breath

where do I get that shower curtain?

cuz certainly my house needs more stuff right now

there aren't enough boxes and toys

and leftovers

and boots and hats and skates

and backpacks and art projects and Christmas cards and

chopsticks and lotions and clementines and perler beads and

pomegranates and mail

dog bones and board games and

pine needles  and

that is just what I see with a quick glance up

from my laptop

Have Peace

I love this song even when he sings it.  Try the Vibraphonic version too.  Google it.  They don't have a video and neither does Stevie Wonder.

Someday at Christmas men won't be boys
Playing with bombs like kids play with toys
One warm December our hearts will see
A world where men are free

Someday at Christmas there'll be no wars
When we have learned what Christmas is for
When we have found what life's really worth
There'll be peace on earth

Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at Christmastime

Someday at Christmas we'll see a land
With no hungry children, no empty hand
One happy morning people will share
Our world where people care

Someday at Christmas there'll be no tears
All men are equal and no men have fears
One shining moment, one prayer away
From our world today

Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at Christmastime

Someday at Christmas man will not fail
Hate will be gone and love will prevail
Someday a new world that we can start
With hope in every heart

Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at Christmastime
Someday at Christmastime

I like him

"REMEMBER, YOU CANNOT BE BOTH YOUNG AND WISE. YOUNG PEOPLE WHO PRETEND TO BE WISE TO THE WAYS OF THE WORLD ARE MOSTLY JUST CYNICS. CYNICISM MASQUERADES AS WISDOM, BUT IT IS THE FARTHEST THING FROM IT. BECAUSE CYNICS DON’T LEARN ANYTHING. BECAUSE CYNICISM IS A SELF-IMPOSED BLINDNESS, A REJECTION OF THE WORLD BECAUSE WE ARE AFRAID IT WILL HURT US OR DISAPPOINT US. CYNICS ALWAYS SAY NO. BUT SAYING “YES” BEGINS THINGS. SAYING “YES” IS HOW THINGS GROW. SAYING “YES” LEADS TO KNOWLEDGE. “YES” IS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. SO FOR AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH TO, SAY YES."
