I talked about it briefly the other day

I get something in my head
then I want it
then I start seeing it in places I didn't expect
then I want it more

it doesn't have to be a "thing"
it could be a song
or getting my nose pierced
these red chairs might make the list

obsession
there are things I like
passing fancies
the desire fades

but my obsessions are lifelong

and I usually find a way to get what I want

was not a house at all

these fences are super fantastic

and they don't look like they would be hard to construct

I never would have thought of having two kinds of fencing

but it makes so much sense

because while I adore my neighbors

I need to sunbathe in private

the table is pretty great too

 I'd never heard of a fiddle leaf fig

but now I need one

it's mentioned on one blog and then another

and I hardly notice

then one day I find myself google imaging it

and then the obsession starts

and now I am sneaking off to plant stores and nurseries 

on my way to work

between errands

just one more stop
