my weekend wore me out

dance recital, LOTS of hula hooping, soccer practice, sprinkler running,

BBQing, beer drinking, diarrhea, swimming,

 one dead turtle, two REALLY dead toads, 

and 4 tanned and tired Appletrees.

feel lonely when you are surrounded by people?

purposefully not make eye contact 

in order to avoid a conversation?

replay conversations in your head

just because they were fun?

catch someone else doing that

and laugh at how ridiculous they look?

or do you feel embarrassed for them?

I need some sleep

I'm working 9 shifts actually this week

but when this month is over

I will live a life of leisure 

sort of

not really

but more leisurely

and in my time off

I'm going to paint my porch sky blue

and wear my hair like this
